Francesco Cardinali is the Senior Country Officer for J.P. Morgan in Italy. In this role he leads J.P. Morgan’s Italian franchise encompassing the Corporate Investment Banking, the Commercial Banking and the Asset and Wealth Management businesses.
Francesco spent his entire professional life at J.P. Morgan. He joined the firm in London in 1996 as a graduate and worked in the investment banking Financial Institutions Group, executing major M&A and corporate finance transactions for European clients and maintaining a strong focus on Italian banks and corporates. In 2002 he joined the EMEA Equity Capital Markets (ECM) team in London, assuming first the responsibility of the Italian ECM practice to become later head of ECM for the Southern European region. In 2016 he was appointed co- head of ECM Equity Solutions for Europe, Middle East and Africa. Francesco holds a MBA from Harvard Business School and a degree in Financial Institutions and Markets from Università Bocconi. He is based in Milan.
