Italian Boat Reaches Most Southern Area of Antarctic Ever Discovered

"The Italian National Institute of Oceanography and Experimental Geophysics (OGS) said Tuesday that its "Laura Bassi" icebreaker has touched the southernmost part of Antarctic ever reached by a ship, getting to a latitude of 78° 44.280S."
